~Chapter 1~
A......friend?




Would you believe it, if I told you that a 7 year old,blind girl is being the most hated person in the village? Or even the whole island? No? Sadly, there really is a young girl that is blind. Who is hated by everyone, who got abdonned by her own mother with the age of 6, Who is being bullied by the children when their parents weren't anywhere near them. All of that is true.




Kiara's P.O.V :

I was sitting in the alleyway I'm always sitting in since the day the other people have thrown me in here, so I won't stand in their way anymore. Waiting for the next thing to happen.
Maybe it will be the children again who want to bully me again, some stray cats who want to be petted by me again and bring me some fish from the river or may it be nothing.

After several minutes I hear several footsteps coming towards me and feel how my hair is being grabbed. Ah,looks like the other children have come today. "Aaaw,aren't you going to cry for help this time,Kiara?", says a girl I know as Lidia. " But it's funny! Come on! Cry for help!", yells Anna and aggressively pulls at my hair while I just whimper from the pain and ignore the urge to cry for help. But suddenly there is a horrible pain in my stomach and I cry out in pain while Lidia laughs. This continues several minutes until they finally left and I just let it all out. I just started crying. And kept crying until I heard footsteps coming from behind me.
I turned my head into the direction from where the footsteps came from and felt a presence infront of me and heard a noise once again, that person must have knelt down......
"My name is Kuzan. What's your name?", said a voice from a boy I haven't heard before. " K-Kiara....but you live here,don't you? So, how can't you know me? Everyone hates me and talk about how annoying I am and-", I stopped mid sentence because I felt how my wrist was being grabbed. "Come. I'll take you home. You'll live with us." "B-but-!"
I got pulled up and Kuzan pulled me with him. "Everyone deserves a normallife. If blind or not. Now let's go home and eat something and then you'll take a bath my mother gives you something to wear while my father finishes your room!" "Home.....?"


I have a friend? A family that cares about me? A home? A room?
Maybe everything is going to change now.
